Admissions Policy

Children are admitted into Reception class in the year of their fifth birthday. The Local Authority admissions policy is implemented centrally; the school does not allocate places.  If you are not a resident in Harrow you can find out about the application process via your local authority. 

In-year school transfers are managed by the local authority according to published admission arrangements. Children can move up or down the waiting list, their position is not static.  The local authority will inform you if a school place becomes available - not the school.  

PRIMARY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS / 2024-2025
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 you can apply for a place in primary school for September 2024.  You can read information on applying for a school place on the harrow.gov.uk website within the school and learning section -> Apply for a primary school place – Harrow Council  It explains how to apply and provides details of school admission arrangements for each school. The application for a primary school place in September 2024 was opened on September 2023 and the closing date to submit an application is 15 January 2024.
 
SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS / 2024-2025
If your child was born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013 you can apply for a place in secondary school for September 2024.  You can read information on applying for a school place on the harrow.gov.uk website within the school and learning section -> Apply for a secondary school place – Harrow Council  It explains how to apply and provides details of school admission arrangements for each school.  The application for a secondary school place in September 2024 was opened on September 2023 and the closing date to submit an application is 31 October 2023.

NURSERY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS / 2024-2025
If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 you can apply for admission to the Nursery for the September 2024 intake. Places are offered according to the Harrow Admissions Criteria of ‘children who live the closest.’  You can read information on applying for a school place on the harrow.gov.uk website within the school and learning section -> Apply for a nursery school place – Harrow Council .  It explains how to apply and provides details of school admission arrangements for each school. The application for a Nursery school place in September 2024 was opened in September 2023 and the closing date to submit an application is 15 January 2024.
