Effective Early learning

Newton Farm holds the Effective Early Learning Award. The main objective of the Effective Early Learning (EEL) Project is to improve and maintain the quality of children’s learning in early years settings. This project has was developed by Professor Christine Pascal and Dr Tony Bertram who are based at the Centre for Research in Early Childhood at the University College. The Effective Early Learning Award brings together the school community. It includes the nursery class, the reception class, Year 1 class and parents. The EEL Award has helped to develop parents' involvement in their children’s learning, as well as following the children and teachers involvement and engagement in learning.
