My Roll of Excellence this week goes to:

This week we celebrated the children's achievements by inviting the parents in to come and see their children's learning journey. The children were very proud to share their learning with their parents. We also had a teddy bear picnic and the children brought in their favourite soft toys. Well done to all the nursery children for their amazing achievements and their hard work! The Nursery Staff would like to thank all the parents and carers for their support over the year. Have a lovely holiday!

Finding mini-beasts with magnifying glasses . . .
Each child planted sunflower seeds. We made flower biscuits. We learnt about the story of Jack and the beanstalk.
Congratulations to those who were awarded their Writing Certificates and for showing great plant growing. Well done.
We have been learning about Spring and making Eater baskets and Easter cards.
This week we have been learning about the 'Life Cycle of a chick' and 'Humpty Dumpty'. We made chick shape biscuits. The children painted different chicks to go our display of 'Handa's hen'. We also held the chicks.
This week we have been learning about the 'Life Cycle of a chick'. The children have watched the eggs hatch in the nusery. We also made 'egg' shape biscuits. Next week, we will continue about 'The Life Cycle of a Chick.'
