Parent App is a convenient and accessible way in which we can communicate with parents on many aspects of school life. It is easy to use and is accessible from a smart phone, tablet or PC.
The Parent App is used for accessing data about your child (e.g. attendance data). The Data Collection area allows you to submit any changes to the basic data we hold, and our intention is to open up the Assessment area soon so that this information can also be accessed by parents. If we have any important messages to send to parents, it will be via this app. We are taking positive steps to make Newton Farm a paperless school, therefore our focus is to fully engage with parents on this platform.
Getting Started: Register your interest in the app with the school office - we will check that we have the correct and most up to date email address for you. You will receive an activation email from Capita/SIMS which is unique to you and will expire after 14 days. Click on the link from your tablet/PC/smartphone to activate your account. Please remember your login/password as school cannot help with lost details - password management will be relevant to the 3rd party account you registered with (e.g. if you registered with your Gmail account, then you will reset your password using Gmail’s account management procedures).
