Week of 01/05/15
This week in RC, we have been continuing to learn about our 'Minibeasts' topic.
For phonics, we have learnt the diagraphs 'or' and 'ur' and are also beginning to write our own stories, making sure we are using adjectives and connectives in our writing. For mathematics, we have been continuing to practise our prepositions by carrying out instructions in the hall which was lots of fun. We also learnt how to play 'Number Bingo' which the children enjoyed playing very much!
We were very lucky that we got to watch the builders pouring cement to make the new Junior School Building and learnt what the builders were doing, what equipment they were using and what they were wearing and why. We then wrote about all the things we had learnt in our busy bee books, RC found it very interesting!
