Week of 02.05.2014
This week we have continued to learn about growing. In the nursery, each child has planted a sunflower seed and is taking care of their pot by watering it. We have been sorting out seeds, looking at the different sizes of seeds. Our book this week was Jack and the Beanstalk and the children have enjoyed acting out the story. The nursery children made cress sandwiches from the cress that they grew and they were delicious. Next week we will be learning about minibeasts.
On Thursday, we started our Stay and Play sessions. Thank you to all the parents who attended and we look forward to seeing more parents for next Thursday.
