Chartwells Healthy Meals

Each session includes a healthy breakfast or snack (depending on the session) prepared by Chartwells. All food options will be suitable for vegetarians. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate children bringing their own breakfast or snack due to hygiene and health & safety issues. A sample menu has been attached below. Please note that children cannot have breakfast if they arrive after 8:15 as they will not have time to eat and be ready for the school day.

Arrangements to keep your children safe

Breakfast and After School Club is led by Miss Mehta and supported by school staff.

Pupil arrival and collection will be from the club door (which is past the front entrance).

If someone other than you is picking up your child(ren) at the end of the day, you must text Superchargers on 07445 796 455 as soon as possible. Please note that Superchargers staff will be supervising your children so will not be able to take phone calls.

If your child(ren) is/are going to be absent from Superchargers on a day you have booked, you must text Superchargers on 07445 796 455 as soon as you are aware of this.

Homework support

Superchargers offers to help children with their homework for twenty to thirty minutes every day. This will take place during after school club, from 3.50 pm to 4.20 pm, after they have finished eating their snack.

If you would like your child(ren) to do homework at Superchargers, please put their homework in their bag in a clearly labelled folder or plastic wallet. Please ensure that your child knows where to find their homework. As not all of the staff at Superchargers work with your child(ren) on a day to day basis, please make sure the homework is clearly labelled. This so the staff can understand what your child needs to do. We will then support your child to complete whatever homework they are able to in the allotted time, with any completed homework being placed back into the folder, along with any tasks that were not completed. If your child attends several sessions per week, we will attempt to work with your child to complete these tasks over the course of the week.

Once homework time is completed, we will put the homework away and the children will have the opportunity to engage in various, active, fun and engaging activities for the rest of the session.
