Philosophy sessions 15/05/15
This week, RC have started their Philosophy sessions. During Philosophy we ask various questions and answer them in a circle - there are no right or wrong answers. During Philosophy, we discuss and share ideas and need to remember to put our palms out to offer a question, answer or opinion, as well as be respectful and look and listen to the person who is speaking.
During, phonics we have been learning new trigraphs (when three letters come together to make one sound). This week we have learnt 'air' and 'ear'. Next week, we will be learning 'ure' and 'er'.
For mathematics, we have been recapping adding and subtracting, as well as learning to add 3 numbers together. We have also been continuing to recognise coins and describe them.
