Post Box: Local Walk/ Recognising Numbers: 05/03/2015
First, the children wrote their own letter to send to their parents. Then, RM went on a local walk to the post box just off Drake Road to post their letters. During the trip, RM enjoyed posting their letters, counting how many parked cars they saw and singing nursery rhymes with Ms Bourreza and Mrs Haren.
This week, RM have learnt the digraphs 'ch' and 'ng. Next week the children will be learning the digraphs 'th' and 'ai' In addition, for Mathematics, RM have been consolidating their knowledge and understanding on doubling and doing addition by using the 'nose buttons' strategy. Also, the children have been recognising numbers in the outdoor environment.
