My Roll of Excellence for this week goes to:

Kareem for settling in very well and being a friendly and kind member of our class.

In Elm class we have been busy measuring using a variety of resources; number lines, measuring tapes, rulers, string, cubes and sticks.

In Elm class we planted broad beans following our learning about the life cycle of a bean.

Experimenting with rhythm . . .

Trip to Tesco’s to buy ingredients to make porridge. We also enjoyed exploring the story Jack and the Beanstalk in the learning garden.

This week we celebrated Diwali, we learned the story of Rama and Sita and we created Divas to pass the message of light to everybody.

We have been learning about 2D shapes and we created pictures using cut out shapes.
