The Farm and Phonics - 12.06.2015
This week, RC have been continuing to learn about our new topic 'The Farm'. We have been learning about the different animals and where they live on a farm and how and why these animals are useful to us. We have also been making our own animal masks and pictures as well as writing about them.
For Phonics, we have learnt the diagraphs 'nn' and 'gg' and have written stories and sentences using words with them in, we are also making sure that we include a range of adjectives and connectives in our writing.
For mathematics, we have been continuing to practice sharing, halving and doubling as well as beginning to learn about capacity.
RC have been continuing to learn both inside and outside in the learning garden using a range of practical activities and resources.
