On Wednesday 19th June we had the CEO of SAPRE, Bob House and Liz Jones come to Newton Farm School to look at the impact of Philosophy for Children on the children’s’ higher order thinking skills. The senior leaders of the school spoke to them about how the pupils’ speaking and listening skill have also improved and how confidently the pupils can express their ideas and thoughts. They were very impressed with the children’s’ behaviour for learning and we clear that the curriculum in the school provides for the children is relevant and meaningful and one which ensures success for all.
