My Roll of Excellence this week goes to . . .
Ali and Avinaash for trying very hard to improve the quality of their sentences, thinking carefully about the words they use.
We had a fantastic week this week with our highlight being our Sports Champion Day at Harrow Leisure Centre. The children enjoyed trying each activity and meeting professional athletes and getting the opportunity to ask them questions.

History off the Page : Romans . . .
Class competition: We had a competition in class with who could recall our angles song while remembering the names of them and demonstrating what they look like
This week we have been learning about 3D shapes and where we see them in the real world. We created our own shape robots.
Planning, drafting, editing, writing and adding to our own myths. Maths: we have finished off our fractions topic by learning to become confident with converting tenths to decimals. Art: we created our own mosaics!
This week Yew tree class have been busy starting our new English topic learning all about myths and legends.

Book Week: Rama and Sita - we were able to retell the story in chronological order as well as write about a chosen character in detail and include lots of description.
