All of Year 3 for their hard work and resilience during assessment week.
This week we have been learning about shapes. In this lesson we predict the shapes based on its nets and then build them.
This week the whole school had their Sports day. The Year 3 Classes had lots of fun and won many medals. It was hard work preparing ourselves to it, but it was worth it showing our best skills to our parents and teachers. We loved to see our parents coming and participating with us in another awesome Sports Day!
This week, Year 3 enjoyed investigating how light travels and reflects.
Year 3 had an amazing trip to the Hare Krishna Temple where the children learned about Hinduism.
This week year 3 took part in a fantastic workshop where they dramatise the Diwali story.
This week year 3 visited the woodlands, part of our Forest School experience. It was very interesting and engaging. We have learn a lot about nature!
During the Science lessons this term we have been learning about rocks. Our last lesson was about Fossils and what information can we learn from them. We tried to recreate the formation of a mould fossil.
During our geography lesson this week we planned for our 3D model about the different settlements in the UK (hamlet, village, town, city and region). We are all looking forward to build the models.
