The children have been learning about being safe on the roads whilst on their bikes and Year 5 and Year 6 have brought in their bikes to be checked by an external Cycling Officer to see if their bikes. are roadworthy and safe to use. The children will start their Cycle Training during the week beginning Monday 6 October. This supports our aim to get everyone cycling and fit as well as reducing the number of cars that are used to drop off and collect children from school. Newton Farm School’s Travel Plan incorporates this element and the children are also looking forward to Road Safety week which is from 17 November to 21 November as Mrs Bush has organised some brilliant events for all the children during this week.
