Year 5 are learning about the beautiful regions of France.
KS2 trip to the French Institute was fun! We learned about famous French artists and sculptors during our Library activity. It was fascinating to see an original tapestry from Sonia Delaunay. The movie “Calamity, a childhood of Matha Jane Canary”taught us some special features of Fauvism : use of clashing colours and a rich surface texture.
