Minibeasts - 16.4.2015
We have started our Minibeasts topic this week by reading 'The Very Bad Tempered Ladybird' by Eric Carle. This week the children were using the magnify glasses and the minibeasts to see what the look like. In addition, the children went on their own hunt to find Minibeasts.
This week for Phonics and Mathematics we have just recapped on adding, subtracting and digraphs the children have previously learnt before the Easter Holidays. In addition during our Literacy lesson, we read the 'The Very Bad Tempered Ladybird' and got the children to make a list of the animals and creatures they remember from the story.
Next week the children will be learning the 'oo' and 'ar' digraph. For Mathematics they are learning to add and subtract using a number line.
