R.E day

On Thursday 7th March 2013 Newton Farm held a special Religious Education & celebrating Diversity Day. We had religious leaders from 8 different faiths:

 

*Judaism
* Islam
* Hinduism (Hare Krishna)
* Humanism
* Baha'i
* Christianity
* Buddhism
* Zoroastrianism

 

It was a wonderful day where the children learnt even more about the different religions in our community. It was an amazing opportunity for all of us to appreciate the customs, practises and beliefs of all the different faiths and also to respect these differences and ensure that we live peacefully and in total harmony with each other, celebrating diversity in a meaningful way.
