RM and AM Nursery Sports Day - 01/07/2015
This week RM and AM Nursery participated in Sports Day together. It was a fun filled morning with a lot of activities such as racing, obstacle course, bean bag balance, A Frame, space hoppers and target throwing. RM were well behaved and they demonstrated their sports skills. RM, I am so proud.
This week the children have been learning about the story "Jack and the Bean Stalk". Children have retold the story and done rhyming words related to the story. For Mathematics, RM have been exploring height by using the vocabulary "tall" and "short" and ordering different items by height.
Next week, we are recapping digraphs the children have previous learnt. In addition, we will be learning new adjectives to improve our writing skills. For Mathematics, RM will be recapping on doubling through various activities. In addition, we will be looking at plants and their life cycle. Encourage your child to help you with watering plants and explain why the plants need sun and water.
