Welcome to

Newton Farm Nursery, Infant & Junior School

Sustainability

At Newton Farm looking after our planet is something we care deeply about. We are incredibly proud to share how our school community has been actively shaping environmental action, not just within our own classrooms, but across the entire borough of Harrow!

From collaborative planning to creative designs and public speaking, here is how our staff and pupils have been leading the green movement:

Shaping Harrow’s Climate Action
Our dedicated staff members have been working hard behind the scenes to help shape local environmental initiatives through Green for life Harrow. Our team has helped ensure that education and school-led action are at the forefront of the borough’s green future. You can learn more about these borough-wide initiatives on the Harrow Council Climate Change Hub.

Designing a Greener Tomorrow

Creativity met conservation when some our pupils entered the Harrow-wide competition to design the new Harrow Schools' Sustainability Charter. Our children poured their passion for the planet into their entries, thinking deeply about what it means to protect our environment. Though no entries from our school were selected, their fantastic ideas helped inspire the look and message of this important borough-wide pledge.

Standing Tall at the Official Launch

To celebrate these achievements, our inspiring pupils were invited to speak at the official launch of the Sustainability Charter! Standing in front of school leaders from across Harrow, our pupils confidently presented the everyday actions we take at Newton Farm to stay sustainable. They did an absolutely brilliant job representing our school, proving that you are never too young to make a big difference.
