On Friday 25 March Newton Farm held a unique event organised by the School Council and supported by Mrs Radia, our Deputy Head and Mr Bradley, our School Council Manager, which celebrated Religious Diversity. We had different faith leaders all come together at Newton Farm School to talk to the children about their faith and traditions. The children all learnt so much about the different religions by listening ad looking at the artifacts that the religious leaders had brought in.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our differences as well as similarities. We aim to ensure that respect, understanding and tolerance are a key feature at Newton Farm School and this event helped us to promote our family and universal values.
Thankyou to all the faith leaders for giving up their time to come to our school.
