Traditional Tales: The Three Little Pigs

"And I'll huff, and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!" growled the big bad wolf.

This week RM have been looking at the story 'The Three Little Pigs'. They have retold the story and made their own houses out of building blocks, sticks and straw. RM were encouraged to think of a prediction of which house will not blow down and why? They came to the conclusion that the house with bricks will not blow down because they use cement to stick the bricks together and bricks are very strong.

Phonics: The phoneme this week was 'j' Please consolidate their learning on 'j'. Next Week, I am introducing the phoneme 'v' and 'w' to RM. In addition, they will be looking at the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'.

Please do not forget to comment in the children's reading diary.
