Week of 22.11.13
This week in the nursery we have been learning about the traditional tales and we have been looking at the 'Goldilocks and the three bears'. We visited the bear's cottage and acted the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. The children tasted porridge just like Goldilocks and 'it was just right'. We also made some beds for the three bears using cereal boxes. We also learnt about the language of size and looked at huge, medium, small. We did writing about our favourite characters from the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Next week, we are continuing with traditional tales. For home learning, please choose a story having the number three in it, for example, the three little pigs and bring in something in relation to that story.
