The school invited Emily Pearson to talk to the pupils in assembly on 3 November about young children who are forced to look after their parents or family members due to different circumstances when adults are unable to look after themselves. She spoke to the children about young carers in Harrow who are not as fortunate as them due to personal circumstances.
The children were very articulate when questioned about the rights of children under UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools and knew about the articles which allowed children to be happy and feel safe and loved. It was an inspiring assembly.
